Patvin is the leading manufacturer of fluid handling systems and offers the best automatic leak testing equipment in the market.

Why use Leak Testing Equipment?

Leak test equipment is critical to ensuring the integrity and safety of various liquid and gas systems in automotive, industrial and commercial applications. These systems must be free to maintain efficiency, prevent contamination and ensure safety.

Depending on the liquid or gas used and the special requirements of the system being tested, different leak detection methods are used. Detecting leaks in systems handling gases or liquids (especially flammable or toxic) is very important to prevent accidents, explosions or environmental hazards.

Advantages of Leak Detection System:

  1. Ensures that systems operate efficiently without loss of fluids or gases that can degrade performance.
  2. Helps maintain the integrity and longevity of systems by preventing the entry of contaminants.
  3. Prevents harmful substances from leaking into the environment, protects ecosystems and complies with environmental regulations.
  4. Reduces greenhouse gases by ensuring tight systems, especially in cooling and fuel systems.

Applications of Leak Tester:

Automotive Industry:

Leak detection systems are widely used in vehicle manufacturing and maintenance to test AC systems, brake circuits, fuel systems and other critical components.

Industrial Machinery:

In industrial machinery, leak testing systems ensure the integrity of the hydraulic and pneumatic systems of various machines and equipment.

HVAC Systems:

Essential for testing heating, ventilation and air conditioning in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

Gas Distribution:

Leak testing systems are critical in gas distribution for detecting natural gas, propane and other gas pipelines, tanks and distribution systems.

Leak Testing Systems Offered by Patvin:

Nitrogen Testing of AC Circuits Purpose

  • Purpose: To test air conditioning (AC) systems for leaks, ensuring that refrigeration circuits are tight and free of leaks that could cause performance problems or environmental damage. .
  • Method: Nitrogen gas, which is inert and non-reactive, is used to pressurize the AC system. The system is then monitored for pressure drops that indicate a leak.
  • Features: High pressure nitrogen source. Pressure gauges and sensors for accurate monitoring. A safe, non-flammable test environment. Applications: automotive AC systems, building HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment.

Brake Oil Circuit Testing with Dry Air

  • Purpose: To ensure that brake systems are free of leaks that could cause brake fluid loss, reduced brake performance, or brake failure.
  • Method: Dry air is used to pressurize the brake oil. The system is monitored for pressure changes or air bubbles that indicate a leak.
  • Characteristics: Dry air generator or compressor. Pressure sensors and differential pressure gauges. Air bubble detectors. Applications: motor vehicle braking systems, hydraulic braking systems in industrial machinery.

CNG/LPG circuit testing with nitrogen

  • Purpose: To test compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) systems for leaks and ensure that gas circuits are sealed to prevent dangerous gas leaks that could cause explosions or fires.
  • Method: As with AC circuit testing, nitrogen is used to pressurize the gas system. The system is monitored for a possible pressure drop indicating a leak. Sensitive pressure sensors and gauges. Safe test methods for handling high pressure gases.
  • Areas of use: CNG and LPG fuel systems in vehicles, gas distribution pipes, storage tanks.
